I usually have a hard time finding bracelets that fit well, but I recently scored at Kohl's with these cute and girly bracelets from Lauren Conrad's collection. And best of all, they were on sale!

Engagement Party

Over the weekend I attended an engagement party where the host had the most adorable dogs... I had to restrain myself from taking one home!

I attended a pot luck dinner party for the Olympic opening ceremony. I was feeling ambitious, and made two desserts! Did you do anything special for the opening ceremony?

Victoria Sponge Cake 

(sponge cake with a strawberry jam and whipped cream center)

Banoffee Pie

(vanilla wafer pie crust filled with caramel & topped with bananas, whipped cream & shaved chocolate)

My butterfly!

About a month ago I found a green caterpillar on my deck outside. I was afraid of a bird finding it, so I placed it in a mason jar and kept it in my kitchen. Soon enough it turned into a cocoon, and just last week this beautiful butterfly emerged! 

Best. Pancakes. Ever.

I sampled these pancakes over the weekend and instantly bought 2 tubs of it to take home (banana pudding & vanilla). I'm not a huge pancake fan, but these were so light and fluffy and delicious... No syrup needed! I cannot wait to try the vanilla flavored pancakes this weekend!
